WebWarehouse

WebWarehouse (WWH) is a web-based solution integrated with the manufacturers’ internal logistics systems to enable proper information flow between them, the warehouses, hauliers and customers. All integration between Communicate and the manufacturers is already done, and because no software installation is necessary at the warehouse, implementation and training only takes about half a day.

WebWarehouse has been in production since 2000, and is currently used by 80 warehouses in Europe and the US.

To ensure correct information at goods delivery and reception, WebWarehouse uses handheld barcode scanners.

WebTerminal

WebTerminal (WT) is a web-based, cross-docking web application, i.e. no special software is required. It is designed to ensure efficient loading and unloading of containers using handheld barcode scanners so that the load is always handled according to the manufacturer’s loading instructions. WebTerminal is based on papiNet messaging standard – a global standard for the paper and wood industry.

Functionality of WebTerminal:

Information on all incoming shipments and loading instructions (bookings)
Stock maintenance with damage reporting
Handling of incoming goods and receipts
Reporting per outgoing transport unit and per loading instruction
Barcode scanner software integrated with WT to ensure proper handling and functionality
Reports of e.g. goods in stock, loading schedules, and inbound and outbound shipments
